Dr. Sasha Merari Charres, Psy.D., MSN, MSN, A-APRN, A-GNP, NP-C
Dr. Sasha Merari Charres is an autonomous, board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner providing comprehensive primary care to patients ages 17 and older.
Dr. Charres began her medical career in 2012, first earning her certification as a Medical Assistant before completing her Associate Degree in Nursing. She later earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.
Her clinical background includes extensive experience in Critical Care (ICU), the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and Emergency Medicine, providing her with a strong foundation in the management of both acute and chronic health conditions.
Dr. Charres continued her education by earning a Master of Science in Nursing Informatics and later completing post-master’s education specializing in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care. Most recently, she earned her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.), further supporting her commitment to caring for the whole person.
Primary Care Services
At Galatians Medical, Dr. Charres provides primary care for patients ages 17 and older, including:
- Annual physicals and routine wellness visits
- Preventive health screenings
- Management of chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes
- Sick visits and evaluation of common illnesses
- Medication management
- Routine laboratory testing and review
- Weight management
- Health education and lifestyle counseling
- Ongoing management and follow-up of adult health concerns
Dr. Charres believes in a patient-centered approach to healthcare and works collaboratively with each patient to develop an individualized plan that supports their long-term health and well-being.
Dr. Charres currently practices in Pembroke Pines, Florida and is an autonomous Nurse Practitioner licensed in:
